Dear Angela R. Connor,

I'm Gabriele "Abisso" from Quill O' The Wisp, a young video-game company. We're currently working on a freeware adventure game called Forge, sequel of Loom, Lucasarts' masterpiece of the nineties.

I'm contacting you because I've browsed through your portfolio, and I think you're a very skilled artist (and because there's a dragon in our game!). Our project is looking for people with these talents.

We've already released a tech-demo and are planning to make available a fully playable demo next year. So there's already a lot of art and animation done, but I think your work could be an excellent match for the established style. Please take a look at some examples of the art style in our gallery and maybe try the tech demo as well.

Since the game is freeware, there's no money involved. But the game has got a huge fan base and thus is very good for visibility. Future projects will be commercial, although a donation system is already active and has helped to cover the basic expenses.

Even a small sprite or short animation would be appreciated (and would earn you a place in the credits, of course). If you could do more, though, we would welcome and appreciate a dedicated team member.
